Monday Blundays....

Welp, monday came and went...It was productive in the way Lions are productive when they rip apart a gazelle. Looking forward to Tuesday...I have a new idea for a sketch. Well, a sketch that I can show on the internet...Pencils down..test over for tonight..seeya tomorrow...

More Drawing....

Been drawing more....just finished a piece for a baby shower invite. Going to keep putting more on my website as I finish or even just start. it's been a good week, hopefully tomorrow will wield more good stuff. Sure am looking forward to warmer weather though. I dig all the artists on here, I want to find more of them and follow their work. I'm really stoked about the idea of getting a piece published in ImagineFX, an awesome art magazine. Will write more about that as I go. Going to go draw somemore....wings and fries for dinner tonight! seeya!!!

Sunday again!!!

Welp, another week gone. But a great weekend. Connecting to more Artists and Illustrators using LinkedIn. Watched some great movies and went to Church on Sunday, which is always a great stress reliever. Started another piece, which I'm coloring using GIMP2...I wanted to see how far I could carry a work using strickly this program. I will post it as soon as I'm semi-finished with it. New Week, New World.....

Well, I watched the premiere of Human Target last night, I actually own an issue of the comic book it's based off of. Had to watch 24 also...both episodes. Tonight, I'll watch another one...unless it's a repeat. Drawing more and more, and even more than that I'm joining more websites that connect me to artists. I have already met a few outstanding artists, and shared some work. But I love meeting new people. As someone who draws, who creates, I guess the coolest thing is this need to always find new things...new ways, new avenues, new art...new people....sweet!

New year, new Decade....

I'm excited. Brand new year and a new decade to boot. So much I want to do this year. Really get a good running start on things. 2009 was really not that good of a year to be honest. The only good thing that came out of it was meeting the love of my life, Jessica. So with her I bring in the new year, I opened the window and breathe in the fresh air, and welcome in the new smells. New ideas, new plans, out with the old as they say! It's funny how good you feel when you decide to take a different path then you have been. It's scary but exciting too. I've got my pencils sharpened, my pens inked up, and I'm ready to turn that corner....

Sunday, Christmas tree day

Well It's a cold Sunday morning. Going to have some breakfast then off to Lowe's to buy a Christmas tree. I hope we can get a descent one, I'm not a big fan of Charlie Brown Christmas trees. I'll have to make another entry later after we lug the forest critter back up into the home. Have a good day for now!

Sunday morning.....

Well it's been a long week. Jessica, my girlfriend, caught the N1H1, or as it's called, the swine flu. So it's been alot of taking care of her when I can and trying to go to work too. It's Sunday morning, a week after I last posted and she is just now beginning to feel better. The doctor said this is actually becoming the worst time for people because the person will feel alot better than suddenly it turns to pneumonia. I'm praying this is not the case for Jess. We will keep an eye on it. Anyways other then that its just been a week. My goals were pushed to the side, but I'm just going to renew the same ones for THIS week ;).......My favorite new shows that are out are SGU, and V, two really great character driven shows. Also I like Sanctuary, but mostly because they took Doctor Who off the air. I did create some characters at the drawing desk, but nothing I can use right now, have to save them for future ideas. Well thats all for now I guess. Enjoying this fall weather here in Georgia this morning, but will get back to you later. Take care and stay away from that swine flu!!!

First post...A good sunday

Well, this is my first post. It was a good weekend, I spent Saturday with my girlfriend Jessica's family at a University of Georgia football game. Her father is Alumni there and played in the red coat band. Then she and I went and had a nice dinner with her mother and father. Then on Sunday, Jessica and I spent the day celebrating my step-father's and my step-aunt's birthdays at Taco Mac. Believe it or not, i found out, just spending time with families can be tiring. Now, back at home resting at the computer, I'm just enjoying a little down time. A little family guy a little later and then to bed so I can get up and start another work week. My goal this coming week will to be to finish 2 pages of our Izadora book, and 1 of our Halloween book. Goals are good, just keeping them can be the pain in the butt.
